jobssss

No job is of more importance than another. In it’s own way every job has some sort of meaning to the individual. The amount a person receives has no meaning to what they get out of it. A doctor is no more important than a teacher. Just like a dentist is not more important than a vet. These people who pick their careers do so because in their mind it matters to them. In one way or another their efforts in whatever they chose to do can make a difference, and help someone in the future. A doctor needs an education, so teachers help them get where they want to be in the future. People do not choose there careers based on the amount of money they make, they go into that certain field because it’s what they love to do. As I start to plan my future and look into the next ten years of my life, I ask myself, what do I want to do? Who can I help? How can I make a difference? The only thing that comes to mind is nursing. Now I know that not all people think nursing is more important than their job, but to me it means a lot. I don’t think there is any way knowing whose job is more important, it’s the way you feel at the end of the day, knowing you accomplished what you set your mind to. If you let a salary determine your career, then its not what you love to do. You can’t put a price on happiness, no matter how high the income is. As long as you are happy doing your job nothing else can compare. People waste years of their life at a job that they really don’t enjoy, maybe the check at the end of each month is big, but is it really worth it? You only live once, so set a goal and achieve it, having something to work for feels so good when it is all said and done. My personal goal, is nursing and the day that I have accomplished this dream is going to be one of the happiest days in my life. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to do this, so I’m trying my best to set my mind to my life-long dream. No one has room to judge a person on their career, some people just need the money and will go to the extremes, which I do not blame them. If I was really in need of money, I would do whatever it took to make sure I was financially stable, now a lot of people would probably disagree. A job is a personal choice, nothing is ever forced on a person, this is what I don’t think people understand. For example; a stripper, isn’t as respected as a dentist, that is just the way society is. Now I don’t feel I am better than a stripper I have three jobs and they are making more money than I am with one job. Whatever it takes to get things done, if you are happy with what you do that is all that counts, people shouldn’t judge.
